Still Waters for Men
About Still Waters for Men
Still Waters for Men is a spiritually-based 12-Step immersion program for men ages 18 and up. Still Waters for Men was founded in 2009 and is located in the rolling hills of Perry County near the Buffalo River in Tennessee. At Still Waters, Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous principles of recovery are taught using AA and NA approved literature and fellowship, group discussions, lectures, and 12-Step meetings. Still Waters serves as an alternative to, or can follow, the primary or extended care programs offered at Cumberland Heights, their sister facility. Stays at Still Waters are typically 30-90 days and can range in cost from $9,000 to $29,000. Still Waters is accredited by the Joint Commission, and because they are part of Cumberland Heights, they are partners with American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM).
Still Water for Men is located on 105 acres of campus in Lobelville, Tennessee, and the facility is a converted private residence in the middle of a rural forest and pasture lands. The main house is gender-specific and provides dining services, meeting rooms, offices, and housing for the counseling staff. The clients stay in the 4-room guesthouses, and these offer semi-private rooms and private baths. There is an on-site laundry room, an extensive garden, and a gazebo right next to the creek.
