The Steward House at Silver Hill was created in collaboration with Yale New Haven Health and the Yale School of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry. It serves high-achieving executives and professionals facing substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. Each client receives a customized treatment plan developed by expert mental health professionals using evidence-based therapies. Treatment aims to rebuild essential skills and improve the ability to handle conflict, daily challenges, and long-term goals.

Strengthen Coping Skills Through Integrated Care

Treatment begins with a comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessment. Clients receive medication management and supportive therapy from the program’s psychiatrist. Services include individual and group therapy, family counseling, wellness activities, and self-help programs. Each day balances structured activities with unstructured time for reflection or rest. On weekends, programming becomes more relaxed, offering chapel services, wellness groups, and family visits.
