Their specialized programs cater to men, women, executives, professionals, and adolescents with an average length of stay ranging from 5 to 12 days, but some clients choose to move on to their 42-day transitional living program.

Silver Hill understands that everyone is unique. They provide individualized treatment plans and a wide array of therapies that best fit the needs of the client. Clients can enter 3 levels of care, corresponding to the illness stage while being able to move between levels throughout treatment. Silver Hill seamlessly blends traditional talk therapy with a variety of alternative therapies like acupuncture, acupressure, massage, mat pilates, Tai Chi, yoga, and more.

Silver Hills extensive property consists of 5 home-like facilities for adults, adolescents, addiction and co-occurring disorders, a personality disorder center, and a psychotic disorder center. Each home is tucked away in the peaceful countryside and is beautifully furnished with modern decor and cozy living spaces. While personal cell phones and computers are not permitted, clients will have access to iPads and computers during treatment as well as a library. Clients at Silver Hill will enjoy a home-away-from-home feel, instead of the typical sterile hospital-like setting.

The stay started off as being under observation in the ACU (acute care unit), which is more of a hospital setting and you are watched more carefully. I was supposed to be there overnight but mental health happens and I ended up staying for a week. Once I finally moved over to the TLP (I was in river house) I gained a ton of freedom. I got to walk around campus alone, checks were only every 2 hours, I got to wear shoes with laces and clothes with strings, I had access to iPads and telephones. We watched tons of tv as a group, and I ended up becoming very close with the group of people I loved with in river house! We did jewelry, yoga, massages, spirituality, meditation, move nights… had time to be myself and not stress and work on myself! Best place ever- saved my life

I enjoyed my stay. Everyone was very kind & the staff was very supportive. The food (when I had an appetite) was great and had a lot of options for any meals.

Review from Rehabs.com

I have been to a number of treatment facilities and Silver Hill was the best by far. I was in the DBT transitional living program and everyone from the treatment team, to the house staff, to the cafeteria staff, was incredibly kind and respectful. This was the first facility I've been to where I was treated like a person first, not simply a patient or a diagnosis. The treatment was thorough, comprehensive and scientifically-based, which, as a medical student, I greatly appreciated. After going through 3 hospitalizations, 2 partial programs, ketamine treatments, ECT and countless medication cocktails this past year, I had very little hope going into this program. I can confidently say that Silver Hill saved my life and I am so grateful I had the ability to receive treatment here. It is ridiculously expensive, that is for sure, but for me, it was the best investment I could have ever made for myself. Thank you, Silver Hill!

Review from Rehabs.com

Aside from a few kind, caring souls, this place is a complete and utter nightmare. I’ve been bullied by staff, misdiagnosed, overmedicated, and my entire life’s work has been disregarded. I’m now pretty much depressed, and came in a very happy person.I couldn’t recommend this place less. Come here if you want to learn nothing, and be treated like nothing. What a joke.

Argent program was a complete waste of money. Very little testing and assessment was actually completed, and I ended up leaving the program with a misdiagnosis. Do no recommend.
