About Severn Home Women's Sober Living - Ellicott City
Recover in a thoughtfully designed 4,300 sq. ft. all-female sober living home where Severn Home guides women through 5 structured stages that build accountability and foster independence. In the early stages, residents attend 4 recovery meetings per week and work to connect with a sponsor. As they progress, they earn privileges like overnight passes and extended curfews, developing routines and skills that prepare them to confidently transition from treatment into daily life.
Mentorship and On-Site Support
New residents are paired with a mentor, a peer further along in sobriety, who provides daily guidance, answers questions, and helps them adjust to the home during the first month. A live-in house manager oversees the house, reinforcing accountability, providing support, and ensuring residents follow the structured program while navigating early recovery challenges.
Comfortable Living and Community Engagement
The home features private and semi-private bedrooms, a full kitchen, a fully equipped gym, and year-round amenities including a hot tub and an outdoor pool. Residents participate in house activities, share meals, and engage with peers, creating a supportive environment that balances social connection with personal reflection. This structure helps women establish healthy routines and thrive in a stable, recovery-focused home.
