The staff is caring. I believe they do desire to help people. I wonder about the one on one therapy sessions. Perhaps there should be lmore attention payed to this. It feels at times like the staff is a little clique. I understand the need to communicate with each other just not in a negative light. The house is what it is...nice as the clients make it by really doing their chores. Seems the ball gets dropped until someone points things out. Then the person. In charge steps up his game...until the pressure is off. Then he plays cards or talks to staff or orders food for the staff. It is important that the rules be consistently followed and defined. It was difficult to concentrate on recovery wondering what the rules would be day by day. Most of the house techs are good. I hope my feelings that some were phony just saying what they felt you need to hearis not a valid feeling. Also each tech needs to be more consistent with the rules There were no trails or fresh air....one must steps outside. No holistic nothing.I came there after a short stay in detox perhaps longer was needed how would I know? Hitting the ground running after detox is very straining physically. The medical part needs to be looked at as well.Overall I have mixed feelings about my stay. Itdid help meSome struggles couldn't be helped (other clients). There is room for improvement. Communication more time to get exercise...fresh air. The therapist are good but overloaded with clientsDo not have degrees stated in your website or brochure or here. For a high ended place it really needs to step it up.There are so many people that need help not enough places to go.Would I return to Seacrest.? Hard no. Recovery without consistency is counter productive to what one needs. Hope this helps to improve Seacrest. I can't end this without saying Thank you to Valerie. She is very good at helping others.A great asset to Seacrest. Those in charge need to recognize her and her consistency.
