Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
I attended Rockland Recovery for healing from complex PTSD in 2023. The program and the staff are of the highest quality. They not only are well versed in the newest evidence-based treatments for trauma, but also wonderfully skilled. I always felt like the staff (and yes every last one of them) at Rockland respected me and cared about my recovery and well-being. They are both empathic and kind. This can be seen in the nature of the groups. The groups feel like “we are in this together” and that kind of atmosphere is created when the group leaders are knowledgeable, non defensive, and empathic.
