SPARC has helped me in a million different ways. Every staff member is amazing. They treat you like a person, & they all show compassion & empathy for situations. But they also don't sugar coat anything & tell you when your wrong or what you've done is wrong. I never had any problem with my medication given to me. It's a house setting which is great, instead of feeling like your in a hospital.. but I feel 110% that I am still almost two years clean because of SPARC. I went there to get better. I listened & learned as much as I possibly could. One staff member told me the minute I got there, " if you do this right, you'll never have to do this again" & that has still stuck with me. Any negative reviews I feel are people who just weren't ready for change or for recovery. Because I was, & still am. & I would recommend this place to anyone. Rosie is outstanding at her work & job. 🙌

SPARC was a wonderful place to do treatment. I received the tools I needed to maintain long term sobriety. They assisted me with housing and other items I needed before I left. The program is very structured and requires you to put in the work. The food is delicious and fresh. I would recommend SPARC to family and friends.

Review from Rehabs.com

Worst treatment center I have ever been to. The terrible staff members outweigh the nice staff and unfortunately, I witnessed several female patients being put down and belittled by the "counselor". When I 1st arrived all the girls warned me that I would hate the counselor bc she was so mean but I didn't believe it until the next day when I met her. I was appalled. I could not believe a woman who acted terribly and mistreated so many of the clients could be employed in an establishment meant to help people, not hurt them. It didn't take long before the main counselor and I got into a heated argument and I decided to leave rather than continue to be abused. I felt bad bc most of the girls attending SPARC were court ordered, therefore would go back to jail if they were kicked out or left. So those girls just had to sit there and take it when the counselor would belittle them and spew her awful attitude at them for no reason. I didn't see any actual counseling, encouragement, or structure. My short time there all I saw was attitude, negativity, and she even made fun of some of them until I finally couldn't take it anymore and I told her how nasty she was and that she should not be working as a counselor. Obviously there is more to the story, if people only knew just how bad it really was....I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and I truly hope that since my experience back in 2016, that things have changed and I really hope they got new counselors to replace the horrific ones that were there when I was there. Also, my 1st night there they had 12 of us girls in one house with NO toilet paper in any of the bathrooms! When we told staff that we were out and needed to be filled they did not come and fill it until the next day. 12 girls and NO toilet paper all night and morning was unacceptable!!! I kept thinking in my head "how did I end up in such a nasty rundown place?" It was bad. They didn't treat it as an emergency they were just like "eh ..we'll get to it when we can..." REALLY?! the staff knows that the patients are at their mercy and they abuse that fact so much it's unreal.
