Provider's Policy

At Monarch Recovery Centers, we are committed to making high-quality addiction treatment accessible by accepting a wide range of insurance providers. We proudly work with Aetna, United Healthcare, Cigna, Blue of California, TRICARE, and Optum, among others, to help cover the cost of treatment. We also accept plans from Sierra Health and Life, Western Health Advantage, Magellan, UMR, Oxford Health, Sutter Health Plus, and TriWest, ensuring that as many individuals as possible can access the care they need.

Using a direct and “real” approach to recovery, Monarch Recovery Centers offers an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for adults, helping clients discover what recovery means to them and engage in true transformation. They are accredited by The Joint Commission and also offer sober living options in San Francisco and Sacramento.

Engage in Proven Methods for Lasting Healing

Monarch Recovery Centers uses acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to help individuals manage psychological challenges using mindfulness. ACT helps clients identify their values that reinforce recovery, shifting the focus from substance use to long-term recovery and meaningful action. Monarch Recovery also helps clients understand addiction to gain further insight into the disease. This education paired with identifying personal triggers helps with effectively managing cravings.

Support Beyond Treatment

Their IOP program focuses on relapse prevention, giving clients a toolbox of practical skills they can use long after treatment. Their supportive and non-judgemental environment helps participants build meaningful connections that can offer lasting support. Through Monarch IOP, individuals have the opportunity to build a meaningful life without substance use.
