Blaues Kreuz Deutschland, the German branch of the international Blue Cross, is a Christian treatment center for alcohol and drug addiction. Their motto is "Evangelium und Abstinenz – mit Jesus und ohne Alkohol," which translates as "Gospel and abstinence – with Jesus and without alcohol." Their hilly location in the town of Großrückerswalde treats women experiencing addiction or at risk of addiction, as well as therapeutically supporting family members, including children.
