A Better Today Recovery Services (ABT) provides evidence-based treatment for those who are struggling with substance addiction and co-occurring disorders. The methods we utilize are the latest and most advanced approaches that have been proven most effective in the medical and psychological fields. Our Masters level therapists conduct individual assessments in order to develop the treatment plan that is specific and tailored to each individual’s needs. Each treatment plan incorporates evidence-based treatment strategies that will balance your program and focus you on a path of recovery and sobriety. A Better Today recognizes the necessity of behavioral and emotional shifts that were the causes of addiction and treats clients accordingly. We understand that very often, drugs and alcohol are not the problem, rather they were used as a solution to underlying conflicts. We help clients develop healthy alternatives to drugs and alcohol as means of coping by conquering harmful emotions and thoughts. Services like cognitive behavioral therapy, music and art therapy, nutrition and fitness, group and individual counseling, and life skill coaching are just some of the treatment strategies we incorporate to help develop coping skill and life tools. A Better Today genuinely cares about your journey through recovery and will focus the end of your treatment on relapse prevention, developing a strong support system with family and friends and finding a sober living community in your area to help introduce or reintroduce you to a lifestyle that is drug free.

Review from Rehabs.com

No matter how glitzy and glamorous a rehab center is, it's the staff and the program that make a difference. ABT was the 3rd rehab that I've been to and I'm pretty confident it'll be the last. The accommodations are clean and comfortable. The difference for me is that they treat dual diagnoses. Personally, my drinking was to help me avoid the pain of losing my boyfriend in a car accident a few years ago. A drunk driver ran a red light. I was lucky (or unlucky as I saw it the last few years) to survive. We were going to get married and I was excited about the life we would lead together. You just never know when your last day on this earth is. I was an alcoholic for 10 years before I went to abt. After being diagnosed with anxiety and depression, I began taking medication to treat them. That made all the difference for me. I was able to focus on sobriety and focus on healing with yoga and family therapy. The counselors held me up when I couldn't hold myself up. I don't know where I'd be without them today. I just celebrated one year sober.

Review from Rehabs.com

I underwent treatment at this center. I do not think everyone will be happy with it but I am very much so. I had been drinking 1 3/4 to 2 gallons of hard booze a week and could not go a day without it. It caused me a divorce and problems with my family, I had very few friends and things were getting bad at work. This program requires you to put effort in it as it does no good them giving you the tools and skills without you using them. I thought the ones that seemed to get the least were the ones that thought it should be handed to them. It has made my life easier to manage once i accepted the facts that it was me and could blame it on no one or nothing else. This is the only program I have been through and feels like the only one I will need. Being the age I am I believe it is the only chance I will get and I am thankful this is the one. The staff were helpful and friendly in most cases and we all know we will not get along with everyone. In my opinion they offered what was needed and it was up to me to accept and use it. I can only say how great full I am to have been able to go through this program.

Review from Rehabs.com

My son went to A Better Today, he loved it there. He was released after 89 days and relapsed shortly after. He passed away from another relapse. I hope everyone there completes the program and remains clean. The only negative thong I can say is after 89 days he was releases, when he wanted to go back they told him it would be free if he had stayed 1 more day!

Review from Rehabs.com

A Better Today changed my life. in 108 days, ABT taught me the skills to love myself, move forward with my future, live in the moment, lessen my anxiety through prayer, cope with my addiction, cope with my addicted mother and her hurtful ways, realize my self worth, that my life is worth living, I am loved by others, I am beautiful, It's okay to be me, and most of all... that God loves me, no matter what my past looks like. There are many other appreciations I could list, but I would be here all day. :) I made many friends during my rehabilitation, many I still keep in touch with via Facebook.. I think about ABT staff on a weekly basis, wondering how and what they are doing for work today. I would be more than happy to come back for the free 30 day refresher.

Review from Rehabs.com

My brother decided to come to ABT to get help for his drug and alcohol addiction. We had many interventions with him until he finally saw his problem. ABT was so helpful for us as family to make sure he was still there. From Heather in the intake department all the way to Vicki for alumni the experience was beautiful for him. He has now returned home and I am so happy to have the brother I used to know back in my life. This wouldn't have been possible if it wasnt for A Better Today Recovery Services. Thank you for the amazing work that you do!
