Provider's Policy

Release Recovery Centers works with out-of-network benefits with commercial insurance. We have worked with Aetna, United, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and UMR.

Release Recovery redefines recovery for people facing substance use—guided by a founder in long-term recovery and a team of clinicians and peers with lived experience. They meet clients where they are with day (PHP) treatment that pairs daytime or evening treatment with community housing, an intensive outpatient program (IOP) with 12 hours of weekly on-site programming, and a step-down outpatient track.

Build a Second Family at Release Recovery

At Release, healing begins in the body and unfolds into community. They use a gentle form of therapy that helps people understand how things that happened early in life still shape how they feel and react today. One moment, clients may be doing a breathing or movement exercise to calm the nervous system, the next they meet with a one-on-one therapist to talk through patterns that keep showing up, and later they practice life skills in small groups where others cheer them on.

The on-site physician conducts initial assessments and oversees medication management, including medication-assisted treatment, which many clients rely on. And most importantly, the people that clients are surrounded by become a second family and make recovery feel hopeful and fun.

Enjoy Westchester’s Comfort and Calm

Stepping into Release’s Westchester clinic feels like walking into a calm, well-designed home—with daylight, plants, and comfy seating that invites clients to breathe and open up. Their upscale transitional housing for men has awake overnight staff, case managers, and medication management if necessary, so clients get safety, comfort, and structure.

Experience Human-Centered Aftercare Support

Aftercare at Release keeps recovery real and human with weekly alumni zoom meetings, daily breathalyzer checks, and weekly case manager sessions. Clients have plenty of low-pressure chances to stay in the neighborhood—they’re encouraged to drop by the house, grab coffee, or come to the big alumni barbecue where everyone is welcome.

Build Deeper Self Awareness
Build Deeper Self Awareness
Addiction is often a response to pain, loss, or early relational wounds—and real healing begins when those roots are addressed. Their clinicians combine the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM®) with somatic awareness, mindfulness, and relational skill-building. In plain terms: Release helps clients locate where the pain began, understand how it shows up now, and build new ways of living that feel safer and more authentic.
Bring Calm to Family Dynamics
Bring Calm to Family Dynamics
At Release, families are part of the healing team, not bystanders. They have weekly check-ins with a case manager, boundary and family coaching, parent support groups, bi-weekly sibling support circles, and in-person family education days. These supports help loved ones move from blame and fear to understanding and action and calm the chaos of uncertainty.
Experience Substance-Free Living for Men
Experience Substance-Free Living for Men
Set in a beautifully renovated country estate, Release Recovery offers men’s transitional living for men in their outpatient programs. The home has inviting amenities like an indoor heated pool, sauna, and game rooms. In this substance-free environment, the men can build healthy routines, attend recovery meetings, and get guidance so they can thrive in daily life.
Trust Built-in Medical Oversight
Trust Built-in Medical Oversight
Release Recovery’s chief medical officer oversees each resident’s care from the first medical check-up through regular medication management, making sure treatments are safe and work well with therapy. Having a doctor in charge means medications are carefully chosen and monitored, and families can feel reassured.
