Latitude Recovery Center is located in Carlsbad Village and is in close walking distance to the beach. Their programming is Christ-centered and includes outpatient options for substance use recovery and other behavioral health disorders. They offer individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and substance use recovery. Groups are 90 minutes and include 8-10 members. Participation is generally a 6 month commitment. Individuals typically stay in their substance use recovery program for 30 days to 1 year with 3 months being the average stay.

In addition, Latitude offers various specialty groups like a group for couples in recovery and grief and mourning. They also host monthly community workshops on topics like family systems and religious trauma. Many of these services are offered both in-person and online.

Recovery Program

Latitude provides day treatment, intensive outpatient, and outpatient services through their recovery programming. Their program is laid out in 4 phases:

Phase 1- Individuals will receive an extensive assessment and the treatment team will collaborate with the individual to develop a tailored program. This phase may include individual therapy, education, family therapy, and process groups. This phase lasts 3-5 hours a day, Monday-Friday for 30-90 days.
Phase 2- This phase lasts 12 weeks and offers mentorship and resources for wellness, skill development, and more.
Phase 3- A 3-month opportunity to travel abroad and volunteer in a rural treatment center.
Phase 4- Lasts 12 weeks and focuses on restoring relationships and re-integrating.
