About Mountain House Recovery
Mountain House offers a post treatment launching pad and transformative recovery experience for young men in early recovery. Blending adventure, community, and personal growth, their program combines evidence-based therapies with holistic practices and adrenaline-pumping outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and rock climbing. By riding the waves of nature and fostering strong connections, Mountain House helps individuals carve out fulfilling, sober lives.
Adventure Meets Recovery
The program is broken into 3 phases. Phase 1, Basecamp, lays the groundwork with personalized treatment plans, therapy, and life coaching, while teaching essential life skills like budgeting and resume building. Residents dive into the journey with community service and monthly outdoor adventures.
In Phase 2, Ascent, participants are encouraged to either work or enroll in school full-time while staying plugged into therapeutic offerings. This phase helps them build financial self-sufficiency and the resilience to ride life's waves with confidence and sobriety.
The final phase, Summit, sees participants transitioning into independent living, either in Mountain House's Summit House or their own place. The focus here is on maintaining sobriety, applying the skills learned, and becoming an integral part of the recovery community. Residents continue to get support as they paddle out into life with purpose, riding high on the momentum they’ve built.
