IbogaQuest offers non-medical detox using ibogaine treatment in the beautiful mountains of Mexico. IbogaQuest offers the highest quality ibogaine that is obtained from a reputable source, ensuring the safety of their clients. Dosing is carefully tailored toeach individual’s unique needs. Ibogaine therapy can be helpful for clients with substance use disorders, specifically opiate use and stimulants, as well as for mood disorders, anxiety, and trauma-related conditions.

IbogaQuest generally serves no more than 5 people at a time. Typically each session begins with a Temezcal (traditional sweat lodge) and a short, formal opening ceremony, after which the medicine is distributed. Clients stay in private, luxury apartments while going through treatment. Treatment lasts 10 days, and IbogaQuest also offers a 6 week aftercare program for those who wish to continue and deepen their transformation. The aftercare program includes acupuncture, individual and group therapy, and massage therapy.

IbogaQuest is located in a high mountain valley about an hour and a half from the Mexico City airport. It is an ancient pueblo, overlooked by a pyramid still central to the cultural life of the community. Clients can relax in the colorful, Spanish-like villa. Each client has a private bedroom with a shared bathroom along with a balcony overlooking the mountains. IbogaQuest provides gourmet meals in order to enhance the recovery process, and clients can enjoy a beautiful on-site pool for a refreshing swim.

I visited Iboga Quest in the fall of 2025 and the space was beautiful. One thing I didn't know which was unique to this center (I have visited and been served at several Iboga and Ibogaine centers) is that they hire an EMT to be onsight the full duration of the the times that they serve medicine waiting in the ambulance just incase. This speaks to their integrity, superior care for details and have barely needed it but still ensure they are there just in case. The grounds are beautiful and authentically mexican with touches of comfort and elegance. It felt like home when I arrived and I didn't want to leave.
