Review from Rehabs.com

Late June 2017 I was in a really bad place mentally. I had already been through much trauma but not knowing if not for them, meaning the great counselors the fun groups and amazing friends who truly supported one another, If not for that , I know I would not have known the legal way ,appropriate way of getting my child back. Who was taken away for truly no reason. I unfortunately just was used as the department of children and families social workers muse! The pain was unbearable. Considering my only true support,my dad had just passed which was why I ended up at Norcap. After IOP my little girls father passed away. While I was asleep he had a heart attack. Through that and so much more I owe Norcap and it’s counselors at least that push to give me the hope and strength I needed!!! So thank you!!

Review from Rehabs.com

My experience was with alcohol and drugs . Was tired of feeling sick and didn't want to feel the way I was feeling, which was depressed all the time, irritable, angry and hurting every one around me again and again. I heard about this place so and a few others so I called. They had a woman's bed when I called I was desperate and ready to stop feeling the way I was feeling. Stop drinking and doing drugs and wanted to get sober. The place was crazy at first. I was very frightened of it all, the staff quickly changed that by helping me calm down. They relaxed me by telling me what to expect my biggest concern was my safety. The way they ran the program was pretty structured with the day as well as the night not a lot of free or down time.which was good. They had AA meetings as well as NA meetings come in from the outside to speak to us. That was really helpful. They give you a meeting list before you leave and offer IOP program for aftercare. If you opted to go to a halfway house they would and did make arrangements for me as well as other people there. I had both a good experience their and a bad experience the bad one was because I really didn't want to be sober so it was pretty bad to be there. I would and have told people about the Norcap program quite often as well as others I have been in.The Staff there are warm and friendly but tough when they needed to be it was a good program.

Review from Rehabs.com

I saw a couple comments on staff not being supportive, or kind. I did not experience this at all. In fact the staff here is very kind, helpful, and understanding. I was very nervous at first, and it took me a few days to get up the courage to walk through the front door, but I am so glad I did. I have been sober 1 year, and have all the staff at Norcap to thank. It seemed to me like this was more that just a job for them. I spoke with many of the other patients while I was there, and as far as care goes, that Norcap was one of the best. If anyone reading this is having reservations, please get help, and if you are looking for a place that cares, this is it.

Review from Rehabs.com

I was very disappointed with the treatment. The day staff are very positive especially the MHAs. Counselor are not kind or helpful. Staff members talk down to you and are rude in their approach. Nurses are supportive and seem to understand their job. Food is terrible, Placement is poor. I would make this my last choice for treatment. A LOT of sexual activity and games on the Second shift as staff are not present. Discussed issues with Patient Care Director and she had no interest and was very rude and comdisendimg

We love hearing about your treatment experience
