Outpatient Care for All & Women's Inpatient Care
Their outpatient treatment, typically lasting 12-16 weeks, is open to anyone. For women, there is also a nearby building for residential treatment, which typically lasts 3-10 months. The residential treatment building, named Pettirosso, has staff on-site 24/7 to help women with medical and psychological concerns. After residential treatment, Acenda can treat clients with their "partial care" program that helps ladies transition from inpatient treatment to a less intense level of outpatient care in a safe manner.
Tailored Therapies with Common and Rarer Techniques
Their treatment takes an evidence-based approach that includes the common talk therapies cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) with medication-assisted therapies (MAT) and medication management. Some less common therapies that Acenda has experience facilitating are parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT) and trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT) for cases where those therapies apply. They can also tweak their therapy to meet the needs of veterans, individuals with autism, pregnant women, and moms with kids up to 3. Acenda serves people in in both their physical locations and their HIPAA-compliant video platform.
Additional Community-Based Services
Since this location is near Rowan College, Acenda works with the campus to serve the students and faculty there.
Acenda's website has their full list of offerings, including crisis intervention, preventative services, and temporary homestays.
