Gender-Specific Groups

Texas Helps (previously called Evoke Wellness) in San Marcos, Texas provides gender-specific residential treatment for addiction in a relaxed, home-like environment. Medical detox, dual diagnosis, and residential treatment are all available at Texas Helps. Texas Helps provides each client with a personally tailored treatment experience. Upon admission, experienced and quality clinical staff conduct an in-depth evaluation to assist the medical team in properly determining which therapy modalities will be the most effective.

A Full Continuum of Care

After detox, clients have the opportunity to enroll in a program that works best for their needs. Texas Helps offers 3 unique programs. Their residential treatment program, known as Clinical Stabilization Services, lasts a minimum of 28 days but can be adjusted based on personal progress. The dual diagnosis program is meant for those struggling with undiagnosed or untreated mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, or bipolar disorder. Treatment includes 1-on-1 counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), 12-Step facilitation, educational topics, gender-specific groups, art therapy, meditation, and yoga.

A Veterans Program

Texas Helps offers a specialized program designed to address the specific needs of service members. Their compassionate experts treat addiction along with post-traumatic stress (PTSD) and trauma using eye movement therapy (EMDR) and holistic services.

Recover in a Relaxed Setting

At the facility, patients will enjoy comfortable accommodations and delicious, healthy meals prepared by in-house chefs. Texas Helps is accredited by the Joint Commission and accepts most private insurance.
