The staff does not do their job what so ever when a person is admitted they are supposed to keep an eye on them especially if their pregnant and once you're admitted they forget about you. Some of the staff were very kind but you could tell they had no personal experience dealing with them types of situations or people. Lack of support, security, nursing care, nourishing meals, and activities.

Do not go to this facility if you have mental health issues and are expecting individual counseling. I spent 9 days at this place and received not ONE one-on-one therapy session. I left against medical advice because they did not know how to treat my depression and anxiety. You will not receive individual care, "small" groups consist of around 10 people, they give you an hour or two of "recreation time," AKA downtime, yet have no activities to do on campus besides sit in a room and watch music videos. Amenities are bare minimum for a rehab. Meals are one step above jail food, consisting of hot dogs, flavorless oatmeal, beans, and mashed potatoes nearly everyday. There is probably one staff member for every hundred patients, which results in daily physical fights and all-around chaos. If you suffer from anxiety, stay away. This place states to be specialized in dual-diagnoses, but there are way too many people to get the individual treatment that one with mental health issues needs. Bowling Green has failed me, but my recovery will continue elsewhere.

Counseling and group sessions were a strength. Lack of patient check in for bringing drugs during admission. I believe because I wanted the help it was available. The counselors we're supportive, the group leadership positions we're helpful in being responsible and preparing to live life on life terms.

Vwry Disciplined, Excellent Food, Friendly staff whom will talk at length with you and answer all your questions,+ if they don't have an answer, will find someone who will help and answer any questions. Sone ateas are too week whike sine are too strictly enforced, mainly over nonsense. I found it to be a great facility, especially when we needed one in a hurry, they got my (late) husband right in, despite all the red rape with workets compensation AND Meducare covetage.
