Recover on a Working Ranch

Deep in the heart of Wyoming's ranch country lies Beartooth Mens Rehab, a unique sober living transformational program for men ages 18-30 struggling with addiction, process addiction, behavioral defiance, and co-occurring mental health conditions. In contrast to many other residential drug rehabilitation programs, Beartooth Men's Rehab provides a struggling young man with a western, working ranch experience that transforms him for life, while reconnecting with nature and helping foster a positive outlook. Beartooth Rehabs strength lies in the use of their unique environment. The 50,000 acre cattle ranch is used as a learning tool to impart essential life and work skills during 3-day cattle drives. The program lasts 4-8 months and aims to instill valuable trade skills with biblical, Christian principles. Treatment will infuse individual therapy, life skills training, equine therapy, and experiential therapy with morning prayer, scripture readings, Christian virtue lessons, and work on the ranch.

Learn Technical Trade Skills

Beartooth Rehab also provides vocational training using faith-based principles while teaching technical trades skills such as carpentry, welding, heavy equipment operations, mechanics, horsemanship-horse training, and animal caretaking. Young men who participate in the Beartooth Men's Rehab vocational training program gain a foundation in general life skills that will benefit them in all aspects of their lives. Beartooth believes that the long-term ranch lifestyle and western "Cowboy Culture" encourage virtues like honesty, integrity, accountability, and willpower along with hands-on exposure to valuable trade skill opportunities.

Rustic Accommodations

While Beartooth’s Ranch may not have luxury accommodations, it's a nature lovers' haven with a sprawling countryside, solitude and peace. Men will stay on the ranch in very rustic accommodations while sometimes sleeping under the stars during the cattle drives. The program is $5,300 a month for private pay.
