Banyan Chicago provides multiple levels of outpatient care, including day treatment (or PHP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), general outpatient, and a stabilization program. They additionally offer virtual outpatient care, a veterans and military track, faith-based track, and trauma care. Their flexible, evidence-based treatments allow clients to maintain other responsibilities while receiving comprehensive, effective care.
Multiple Levels of Outpatient Care
Banyan Chicago’s levels of care provide intensive and non-intensive treatment options. An initial clinical assessment determines the most effective level of care for each client.
•In day treatment, clients spend 8 hours in treatment daily, 5-7 days a week.
•Their intensive outpatient program includes a minimum of 9 weekly treatment hours, 5 days a week.
•In their outpatient program, clients spend 1-5 hours in group sessions weekly.
Evidence-Based, Clinically-Led Treatment
Banyan Chicago’s masters-level clinicians and medical directors provide individual and group therapies, with daily groups and at least one weekly 1:1 session. Their evidence-based therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), biofeedback, art therapy, Gestalt therapy, family therapy, and more. These therapies treat the whole person, not just the symptoms of addiction.
Dual-Diagnosis Recovery And Specialized Programs
Banyan Chicago addresses co-occurring mental health conditions throughout their programs, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, and ADHD. They offer a specific trauma track with EMDR therapy and specialized group therapies. Banyan Chicago also provides a track for veterans and military members and an optional faith-based program.
