I went to Away for a two night recentering stay. Chris and the staff really gave me what I needed to hone back into my recovery and get to the core fundamentals that got be sober. The food was phenomenal, the living quarters pristine and well maintained. The 2000 acre campus gave plenty of space to enjoy nature and had trails for hikes. I would recommend Away to any family or friend trying to get sober or looking to expand their recovery.

Preventative maintenance and consistent effort have been key to strengthening the foundation of the work I’ve put in over the past decade. Away Recovery has been an invaluable resource in this process, providing me with the opportunity to unplug, reflect, and review my behaviors and tendencies with a team of experts. Chris went above and beyond, creating tailored pre-work before my visit, which allowed our time together to be focused, direct, and highly impactful. The tranquil views and cozy cabins provided the perfect spot for reflection, and the chocolate chip cookies truly topped it all off. Thank you for watching over every detail. I am extremely grateful for the care and support I’ve received from Away Recovery. Highly recommend!

I am truly grateful to the Away Recovery and all of the staff. As someone with a long history of relapse, Away Recovery was able to provide me with a fresh perspective on recovery and afforded me the opportunity to practice what I was learning in a serene setting. Both my family and I could not be happier with our experience. Away Recovery differs from places I have been to in the past because their approach is practical and action-oriented. The staff helped facilitate communication with my spouse and developed an aftercare plan with me that was transparent and achievable. Thank you to Chris, Geno, Victoria, David and the rest of the staff who were supportive the entire time.
