Not evidence-based. Parent-child dynamic between staff and patients There were felons in treatment there who were frightening and menacing towards other patients. Level of staff training inadequate. Just enough knowledge to really do some damage, like the one who practiced the notoriously ineffective and harmful confrontation therapy. Or the one who stated that therapeutic outcomes could not be researched. Some good folks here who are well-intentioned, but program is far from effective, and victims are blamed for treatment failures.

Staff was not empathetic, treated the Clients like criminals. Voluntary inpatient clients were treated as criminals and staff treated clients like children versus adults. Were not allowed to call family or utilize the fitness center. Staff made assumptions without understanding all the facts. Counselor spent less than 2 hours over the Course of 21 days with their patients. Would never recommend this facility to anyone who is seeking treatment for recovery to their addiction/disease. The facility states they follow the AA 12-step program but do not practice the steps themselves and instead degrade the patients....
